it just fascinates me that there are words common to certain languages that others don’t even have. here are a few of my favorites, especially L’esprit de escalier i get this feeling a lot.

Gheegle: (Filipino) The urge to pinch or squeeze something that is unbearably cute.

Cualacino: (Italian) The mark left on a table by a cold glass.

L’esprit de escalier: (French) The feeling you get after leaving a conversation, when you think of all the things you should have said. Translated it means “the spirit of the staircase.”

Stam: (Hebrew) An agreement out of amusement and frustration that something doesn’t have a satisfactory answer among those talking.

Forelsket: (Norwegian) The euphoria you experience when you are first falling in love.

i bet everyone one feels a little heartbreak when things don't go the way you expected them to go. its a normal occurrence in life.

still it can be a drag for example: a short few minutes ago i got a rude reminder of something not going the way i expected… an alarm reminder went off for a trip that a “friend” and i had made a while back, that i was very very very very very excited about. It was a trip to Portland Oregon. Sadly this is not the first trip to Portland planned out with a “Friend” (i put friend in quotes not because i do not consider them friends i still do, but they both happen to be “X boyfriends”) anyway point is let downs aren't that fun. but the key is to not let them bring you down since I'm not going to share that adventure , i will plan a new one.

Today at work we found a bird in the toilet, sadly the bird had drowned. I would guess it was a baby bird living in our building. You could hear it annoyingly squawking in our back room. I'm still baffled by how it got in the toilet. Sad day.

So I was just chatting with a friend who said he saw me at the bank the other day. Which we came to the conclusion that he didn’t, and it must have been my twin. Well i don’t really have a twin. But this got me to thinking , what if out there we have a twin, well not biologically; just someone who looks a lot like you. Have you ever been told that you look like someone else? just think about it.

A while back i received an email from my friend Jack, in the email contained this :

Today was a fun and busy day… Worked which is crafting all day, loved it. Then over to my sisters to help out my little nephew make sock-puppets for a school project and watch my twin nieces. All in all a good day with creativity and laughter.

Sorry for all the video posts, they were too good not to share. Anyway...

lately i've been obsessed with making smaller paintings, i just enjoy it some how. i freeze up when i try to make something large, the images never look right to me when they are big. but i want to brake out of this shell and try making bigger pieces. so i recently purchased 5 stretched canvases in various sizes one of them being a 18"x24" not the largest size i have worked one... but still this is pretty big. this might be a challenge. so here is my goal: i will have completed a work of art on the 18"x24" canvas by the 23rd of this month giving me 15 day to "make it work" as Tim Gunn would say. (okay so i have an obsession with Project Runway too, the show is so good) but yeah so expect a post on the 23rd with a big painting in it.

So about time i go off on some random topic. Its been a while right? Anyway so I've been thinking and working on ways to improve my physical appearance. I've been eating healthier, I've kinda been working out at the gym... yeah i really need to go more regularly. I'm working on it. But I'm proud to say I've lost some weight. YAY!! No i don't think I'm fat. I just want to shape up and be fit okay. back to wanting a perfect body. So I'm working on my weight... check. Now I'll venture to the dark side, areas of my body i have issues with... My NOSE, BOOBS, THIGHS. To start of I'm starting with the bottom and working my way up. THIGHS... oh my big fat thunder thighs, how i want them to go away. so this is my main goal to tone up my thighs with working out. To me this isn't that big of a problem to work on. I'll i have to do is get the right mind set and get my ass in the gym more. On to the BOOBS... Oh yes everyone loves a pair of big boobs but god gave me a pair of very small 32 A's. Yup but you know what i don't know why i even put boobs on my list because yes i would like them to be bigger. but i don't really like the options i have to make them bigger. I don't want something fake inside me. Plus i think of it as false advertising. I don't even wear padded bra for that very reason. I don't want someone liking me for my breast anyway. I'm fine with my boobs end of story. On to my NOSE... okay so i don't like it much. I've been told i have my brothers nose and it scares me. I have a bump on the bridge and it points downwards. Those are the two reasons why i don't like it. Plus if my nose is like my brothers with age its going to continue to slope down. Very frightening fact. So I'm highly considering Rhinoplasty. Yup. I want to get rid of the bump and slope it up a bit. Oh and something funny my brother in-law said to me about the whole nose job thing... "All you have to do is get a boob job, and then no one would be looking at your nose anyway." funny but sadly true. I probably sound so vain. I'm generally pleased with my body. A girl can dream a little right.
Anyway on to the bigger and harder part is working on a "Perfect Soul"... My soul is in need of much improvements. Just by reading the entire beginning of this post proves that my soul needs a little work done. So here are some things I think might help me out ; become more spiritual, be kinder to others, smile more, be more open to new things, help others, always speak well of others and myself, stop doubting, continue to learn and grow, teach and be taught, listen, share, create more and LOVE. The list goes on and on, but I think these are what I should work on the most. So I think I'm done now... Good night!

Regained health, but it's been a slow process. Take slow methodical steps. Keep your chin up, this is a time of recovery. Sadness, but not depression. Coping. Hope is renewed.

Most of you out there might think this is crap. I've always been a nerd with cards and crystals, I've had The Answer Deck in my purse for 6 years now (good times). Whats so wrong with a little encouragement. You read the cards and apply them to your life and these really fit my current situation. I've been thinking about things these past few weeks and after reading these cards it has really helped. I'm really thinking about Getting my cosmetology license and moving, starting a new cycle a new chapter to my life. I need to leave this desolate town behind and find myself. I've been thinking California, Hawaii possibly New York. But California is sending strong vibes. oh man im talking about vibes now. But really California has what i'm looking for... Ocean, Beach, City, Life, and a few friends. I just don't know indecision and doubts keep creeping in though... Should i do it? Pack up? Move? Start over?

Year 2009 is coming to an end
I'd like to recap on the fun times i had... The slew of concerts: The Ting Tings(by far the funnest concert ever, oh and the Hot Tubs... Its a cold snowy day... i didn't have to work so i decided to stay in all day so thought i should make my day somewhat productive. So i began painting. I've noticed a trend to my blogging. Seems to me that i only post things frequently after my heart has been broken. why is this so? not too certain... but if i can take a guess. more free time away from that certain person of interest =alone time, being heart broken = pain which adds fuel to my creativity, being without that person makes me feel empty = lots of thinking to fill the spaces= no sleep = me writing posts at 3 in the morning.

So this song is amazing by the way everything by Bright Eyes is amazing. this song brings up today's topic of my post Love and Fairy Tales.

It is so true its so hard to find a love that is like a fairy tail. We find love but its nothing compared to the epic and classic stories that drugged us since we are little children. we sit expecting more than we have or that we'll ever get.Just last night or this morning you could say, i couldn't sleep at all this has been a regular occurrence. So i had been talking to my ex the whole night both of us not being able to sleep its around 4 in the morning and i decide to call it a night. then around 4:45 i swore i heard a tap on my window so i sit and listen... and nothing. My mind must be playing tricks on me because as i was listening for an other knock my mind began to wander thinking maybe that was so and so at my window on a horse with flowers.. no wait there was no horse or flowers. but he's standing there telling me he's sorry and he can't live with out me and that most of all he loves me and it genuine and true. but no these things never happen. they are just let downs brought on my our subconscious. I don't mean to sound like a pessimist. Just i've never been to lucky with love. i'm on the same page as Conner on this... as if love is like some lottery. waiting for our number to come up.. scratch and see, that you lose. but still at the beginning of the line it talks about those who are lucky to receive that love... the love that we all want and need. I've seen it, so it is true. I'm not asking for a fairy tail love story... I'm just asking for something real.
anyway i must sound like a giant sap. i' normally not like this, i'm mostly content on my own but as of late i've been wanting more i'm not quite sure what it is.. but some thing feels missing.

once again i find myself not being able to sleep... its quite normal to me now.

anyway i've had quite an interesting day...
i felt as if i was going to die...
my whole body ached or maybe was soar so i've been going to the gym. i know it's a miracle i haven't been to the gym in years. i kept getting the chills.and to top it all off i've also have had a runny nose for a week now.(no fun) this was all day at work.

so then i got home from work thought a shower would help me feel better. okay some might think a bath would feel better.. but i've never liked them. the thought of one sitting in ones filth, ewe. it can't be too clean..i don't know.. it's not appealing to me at all... for some reason it weirds me out when guys like baths. i don't know.. just weird. but yeah the hot shower helped i felt a lot better. then i get a text from my dear friend inviting me to go to a movie with her and her fiance and she suggested that i invite my ex. i being apprehensive, not really wanting to. this boy broke my heart okay. i didn't really want to see him.. even though we still talk every now and then. but he and my friends fiance have a bromance going on. they love each other i swear. so i thought okay.. might as well invite him he probably won't come anyway. i don't hate him.. it wouldn't hurt.. any way ex says yes to the offer... wow i'm already getting sick of writing... so i'll shorten it. meet up at friends, awkward hello. leave to movies i was supposed to drive. yet ex offered.. ex drove friend makes me sit in passenger seat. still a little awkward... i make thing awkward...anyway watched the movie. friend left with fiance since we met him there. drove back with ex. not much talking. ex says "i want to talk." i've come to the conclusion i really don't like those words. so we talked... ex wants to get back together... okay i can be quite stubborn at times. i can't go back to someone i can't fully believe in, in a heartbeat. i need my time i move slow. very slow to be exact. ask anyone that knows me. so i'm baffled... mixed feelings. ex might be reading this.. i don't know. all and all i need time to think things though we can still be friends. if you can't deal with that at the moment then you really don't want me. that's the way i look at it.

anyway strange day. this by far is the most random post that i've ever posted. i don't give out daily personal stories to people really. yup i think im done writing now. buh bye.

So i can't seem to fall asleep tonight... i feel as if i have ADD at the moment. my mind is going in a thousand different directions. so the blog below and this one as well(which are of no importance) are just created by pure boredom. Not saying that the rest of my posts are of importance anyway.

Yeah... so i've been thinking that i really need to start painting again or writing, what this blog was originally supposed to contain. But my brain has been lacking the creativity and intellect. sad i know. but what's a girl to do? I've been getting inspiration from written word, music(spoken word maybe more like sung word or played emotions... maybe)and people watching... i'm a great watcher of personages. yes yes i am. So i'm thinking of busting out my little sketchbook which i have left to collect dust up on my desk, and begin sketching and writing once more.

So if you don't know i love vinyl records and today before having to go into work i decided to check out Graywhale... I love Graywhale they have a great variety of music and their vinyl stock isn't that bad. They also have very friendly employees. All and all i love Graywhale.

Okay back to what i really wanted to say, perks of buy vinyl is that LP's (aka vinyl records) are released before CD's... Lucky me i was able to get Owen latest album New Leaves which release date is September 22... Okay not super early but I'm excited.

It always fascinated me how people go from loving you madly to nothing at all, nothing. It hurts so much.

I have a hard time letting others know what i feel or think. I find i can easily connect how i feel through lyrics from songs or quotes. Anyway this is how i feel.

When I feel someone is going to leave me, I have a tendency to break up first before I get to hear the whole thing. Here it is. One more, one less. Another wasted love story.

When I think that its over, that I'll never see him again like this... well yes, I'll bump into him, we'll meet our new boyfriend and girlfriend, act as if we had never been together, then we'll slowly think of each other less and less until we forget each other completely. Almost.
