The directorial debut of Oscar-nominated actor Casey Affleck, I’M STILL HERE is a striking portrayal of a tumultuous year in the life of internationally acclaimed actor Joaquin Phoenix. With remarkable access, I’M STILL HERE follows the Oscar-nominee as he announces his retirement from a successful film career in the fall of 2008 and sets off to reinvent himself as a hip hop musician. Sometimes funny, sometimes shocking, and always riveting, the film is a portrait of an artist at a crossroads. Defying expectations, it deftly explores notions of courage and creative reinvention, as well as the ramifications of a life spent in the public eye.

The first Alice In Wonderland ever filmed. Made in 1903. I love Alice in Wonderland its always been a favorite of mine. This little film is quite entertaining.

Lost things

Awesome video made by my friends sister, Angela Kohler is an amazing photographer (you might have seen her cute add for the Amazon Kindle) collaborated with A Fine Frenzy to make this beautiful stop motion film. I love the look and feel of her stop motion videos, they have a "Alice in Wonderland" feel to them. Enjoy!

The now infamous Cheap Trick cover song off the brand new soundtrack to Rudo y Cursi.The film's character Tato "El Cursi" Verduzco (played by Gael Garcia Bernal) sings the track. I'm thinking i really need to see this movie i love Gael Garcia Bernal.

Another wasted love story

It always fascinated me how people go from loving you madly to nothing at all, nothing. It hurts so much.



I love these quotes from the movie 2 Days in Paris...
I have a hard time letting others know what i feel or think. I find i can easily connect how i feel through lyrics from songs or quotes. Anyway this is how i feel.




When I feel someone is going to leave me, I have a tendency to break up first before I get to hear the whole thing. Here it is. One more, one less. Another wasted love story.

When I think that its over, that I'll never see him again like this... well yes, I'll bump into him, we'll meet our new boyfriend and girlfriend, act as if we had never been together, then we'll slowly think of each other less and less until we forget each other completely. Almost.

Always the same for me. Break up, break down. Drunk up, fool around. Meet one guy, then another, fuck around. Forget the one and only. Then after a few months of total emptiness start again to look for true love, desperately look everywhere and after two years of loneliness meet a new love and swear it is the one, until that one is gone as well.

There's a moment in life where you can't recover any more from another break-up. And even if this person bugs you sixty percent of the time, well you still can’t live without him. And even if he wakes you up every day by sneezing right in your face, well you love his sneezes more than anyone else's kisses.

Qui êtes-vous, Polly Maggoo?(Who are you,Polly Maggoo?

It is a brilliant 1966 Film directed by William Kline. A hilarious satire of the Fashion industry. Polly Maggoo is a young model who has taken Paris by storm, with her beauty.Polly becomes the subject of an episode of a vapid TV news documentary series called "Qui êtes-vous?" While she is pursued by the filmmaker and by the prince of Borodine, a small country in the Soviet bloc.What's interesting is that the film criticizes the fashion industry and the fakeness associated with it, it also shows that the common people are more involved and intrigued with it they like to admit. I loved the surreal pop cinema, it is one I recommend in watching.
