What a bachelor pad! This awesome 1,800-sq.-ft. Monte-Silo House was designed by Gigaplex Architects for a single man and his weekend visitors to Woodland, Utah. Nestled comfortably among nature and on the Provo River, this modern silo house was constructed of two linked corrugated-metal grain silos, giving the home its unique look and wonderful circular rooms inside. But apart from aesthetics, this house boasts some other cool features – namely, its eco-friendly features. The home’s southern exposure maximizes natural daylight and solar heat gain during the cold winter months. Adding to the cozy warmth, an electric mesh is installed into the lower floor to heat the house, along with a propane-burning stove for backup. Warm in winter and cool in summer, the metal grating and the second-storey deck provide shade, and sweet relief from the hot summer sun. Last but not least, the bedrooms – made especially for the homeowner’s two grandchildren – are a “bed in a box” concept, each equipped with stereo sound and a flat-screen television. How does a bird drown in a toilet?

Question is how did the bird even get in the bathroom?

Today at work we found a bird in the toilet, sadly the bird had drowned. I would guess it was a baby bird living in our building. You could hear it annoyingly squawking in our back room. I'm still baffled by how it got in the toilet. Sad day.

a twin

So I was just chatting with a friend who said he saw me at the bank the other day. Which we came to the conclusion that he didn’t, and it must have been my twin. Well i don’t really have a twin. But this got me to thinking , what if out there we have a twin, well not biologically; just someone who looks a lot like you. Have you ever been told that you look like someone else? just think about it.

A while back i received an email from my friend Jack, in the email contained this :

Barnes and Noble sent me a coupon, and in the picture it looks, almost exactly, like you.

arts n crafts day with babies in the mix

Today was a fun and busy day… Worked which is crafting all day, loved it. Then over to my sisters to help out my little nephew make sock-puppets for a school project and watch my twin nieces.  All in all a good day with creativity and laughter.

And this little guy Ezekeil came to visit me at work today. I’m his great-aunt, how crazy is that? He’s going to be a stud. Don't worry he doesn't have monkey ears.
